About Patranila

Hi! I'm Patranila Jefferson and I'm what we call a multi-hyphenate. I'm an actress, singer, voiceover artist, writer, director and producer working in New York. In addition to my roles in films and on television (As The World Turns, Chappelle's Show, The Yakuza and The Mermaid) I have a few passion projects of my own. For four years I produced the live sketch comedy show AMERICAN CANDY where I also acted in and directed scores of original sketches. I'm currently developing a digital series that will combine my love of music and drama and I'm the director of the sketch comedy web series, It's Funny, I'm Just Saying which will start production on its second season this fall.

And just to keep life interesting, I'm the Editorial Director of the lifestyle and beauty blog The Patranila Project and I work as a beauty contributor for Jones Magazine. I fervently believe in a no-limits life and I really enjoy mixing it up from time to time.
